YogaMat Pro (B2B) Artwork Specification
This document outlines the technical requirements for custom artwork on yoga mats, including file formats, dimensions, color specifications, and design guidelines to ensure high-quality production.
1. File Format Requirements
- Accepted Formats: AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, PDF (vector-based)
- Resolution: 300 DPI minimum for raster elements
- Color Mode: CMYK (Pantone matching available for an additional fee)
- Layers: All text and elements must be outlined/embedded
Vector files ensure sharp reproduction even at large sizes. Avoid JPG, PNG, or bitmap formats.
2. Dimensions & Safety Margins
- Standard Sizes: 68"×24" (172.7×61cm), 72"×24" (182.9×61cm), 74"×26" (188×66cm)
- Bleed Area: 0.25" (6.35mm) on all sides
- Safety Margin: 0.5" (12.7mm) inside bleed area
- Design Template: Download our artwork template with pre-marked safety lines
All critical elements (logos, text) must stay within the safety margin to avoid being cut off.
3. Color Specifications
- CMYK Process: Colors must be within CMYK gamut ( Pantone Solid Coated recommended for brand colors)
- Minimum Ink Coverage: 10% (to avoid color washout)
- Maximum Ink Coverage: 300% (to prevent ink bleeding)
- Color Proof: Provide a physical or digital color proof for critical color matches

4. Design Guidelines
- Logo Placement: Minimum size 2"×2" (5×5cm) for visibility
- Pattern Repeat: For all-over patterns, provide seamless tile with 0.125" overlap
- Texture Consideration: Avoid fine lines (<0.5pt) and small text (<8pt) which may blur on textured mats
- Material Compatibility: Metallic inks and glow-in-the-dark effects available for premium rubber mats only

5. Submission Process
- Prepare artwork according to specifications above
- Upload files via B2B portal (under 'Custom Orders' > 'Artwork Upload')
- Include color reference file and design notes
- Our design team will provide a digital proof within 2 business days
- Approve proof to proceed with production
Production timeline starts only after final artwork approval.
